BKW Partners worked on a cross-governmental and cross-organizational team to design and implement a dynamic interactive booth at the AIDS 2018 Conference in Amsterdam.
The booth served as a launching point for the International MenStar Coalition, who aim to to expand the diagnoses and treatment of HIV infections in men – keys to breaking the cycle of HIV transmission and ultimately ending the AIDS epidemic as a public health threat by 2030.
Booth Design
An open plan made the booth approachable and inviting, encouraging conference-goers to stop and sit. Comfortable seating could be arranged for casual hangouts, or to form an audience for forums and speakers.
Goal: Gain attention of the advocates and beneficiaries attending World AIDS Congress.

The project took tenacity, clarity of visition and diplomacy. Fortunately we had the U.S. State Department as a partner.
Most Visible Booth in Global Village
The goal of the project was simple, but not small! We set out to raise awareness of the HIV infection cycle, within our allotted display space.
The booth was a popular spot, hosting and engaging a large number of visitors. Attendees often photographed and captured video of the messages featured in the space.
A Design to Match the Punch of the Launch

Booth Activation
A selfie wall engaged passers-by. Conference-goers were encouraged to post their selfie to the wall alongside a message of their choosing.

Lively and easy interactions at the booth provided the perfect opportunity to collect information from advocates and beneficiaries; 230 attendees participated by taking our iPad survey.
